Ingredients:
- 1 whole ham (8-10 pounds)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 325°F.
- Place the ham in a large roasting pan.
- In a small saucepan, combine the brown sugar, bourbon, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, cloves, and cinnamon.
- Cook the sauce over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar is dissolved and the sauce is smooth.
- Pour half of the sauce over the ham, making sure to coat it evenly.
- Cover the ham loosely with foil and bake for about 2 hours, or until heated through.
- Baste the ham with the remaining sauce every 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes of cooking to allow the glaze to caramelize.
- Let the ham rest for about 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
