  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large pan, heat some olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear the chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides, then remove them from the pan.
  4. In the same pan, add sliced onions and minced garlic. Cook until softened.
  5. Deglaze the pan with red wine, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.
  6. Return the chicken breasts to the pan. Cover and simmer for about 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Serve the chicken breasts with the wine-infused onions and garlic on top.
