Ingredients:
- 8 hot dog buns
- 8 hot dogs
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- Chopped white onions (optional)
Instructions:
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
- Add the diced onions and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onions are soft.
- Stir in the tomato sauce, ketchup, chili powder, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Let the chili simmer for 10-15 minutes.
- While the chili is simmering, grill or boil the hot dogs until cooked through.
- Toast the hot dog buns in the oven until they are slightly crispy.
- Place a hot dog in each bun, top with a generous amount of chili, and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese and chopped white onions if desired.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
